YECO Program 2024
The Youth Ecopreneur Program builds on an existing and successful formula that taps and fosters youth green entrepreneurship. The Program cultivates, accelerates, and amplifies youth-led green business solutions, particular those with a focus on land restoration. The initiative is orchestrated around five core areas: A Global Bootcamp and Global Accelerator to provide skills and seed funding, the Youth Ecopreneur Program to recognize and incentivise outstanding initiatives, the Ye! Community for peer learning and institutional support, ecosystem strengthening to build a robust network of stakeholders, and advocacy and awareness to influence policy and public opinion towards sustainable practices. LEDA has been contracted to provide strategic support for the project.

Youth Ecopreneur Awards 2023
Coordination and management of International Trade Center's Youth Ecopreneur Awards 2023 in partnership with G20 Land Initiative, Sidley, World Intellectual Property Organisation and Google Startups for Sustainability. A global awards program aimed at celebrating and showcasing young entrepreneurs innovating in climate smart business. The YEA 2023 Finals were hosted at the World Export Development Forum in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia where finalists from Madagascar, Ghana, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Mongolia pitched in front of a live audience.
YE! Community Botswana
Skill Building & Mentorship Program
Skill building and mentorship program. A sector agnostic program designed to upskill young entrepreneurs with financial skills, market intelligence, strategic thinking and digital skills to help them navigate the challenges of operating a start up. The program offered lectures from experts and mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs in Botswana and internationally.
